      Omsk Scientific-Research Institute of Instrument Engineering (JSC ONIIP) began its activities in 1958.  Today it is a large research and manufacturing complex with an extensive subdivision structure, which has earned a reputation as a highly professional developer and manufacturer of communication systems.

      JSC ONIIP conducts research aimed at solving a wide range of applied tasks - from the creation of radio-electronic components and radio communication devices to the hardest complexes, communication and control systems.

      The Institute not only develops and manufactures products, but also fully serves them at all subsequent stages of the life cycle.  Using the latest scientific, design and production achievements in its activities, it successfully develops equipment and communication complexes, performs installation and commissioning works at customer sites, participates in the modernization of existing and the creation of new radio centers.

      ONIIP team at a high professional level develops antenna-feeder devices of various ranges, radio receivers and radio transmitters of a new generation, signal processing devices.  Most of the products are complex hardware and software systems with unique software.  The use of software-defined radio technology (SDR) provides an almost unlimited upgrading resource for products and communication complexes during their operation.

      Carrying out prospective research and development in the field of satellite communication systems, photon technologies, network technologies of wireless communications and cyber security independently and together with partners, the institute lays the foundation for future directions of its development.

      Nowadays, Omsk Scientific-Research Institute of Instrument Engineering (JSC ONIIP), as before, is ready to solve professional problems of any complexity, to develop and manufacture new generation technical equipment, to create modern radio communication systems and systems.
